Husband to Cynthia, father to Lucy and Abigail, master of the loyal Dickens. Native of Eastman, GA.
Since 2013, Lance has been serving as a pastoral member of Warren Baptist Church in Augusta, GA. He is currently the Community Missions Pastor, overseeing all local mission initiatives as well as North American Church Planting partnerships.
“My personal mission is to help Warren become a church for the CSRA that reaches the world for Christ. As part of that mission, one of my greatest joys is helping disciples take their own “next steps” of obedience in Christ. Whether initially following Him, continually growing in Him, or boldly pursuing their God-given mission, the Holy Spirit has allowed me to play an integral role in the spiritual maturity and mobilization of many disciple-makers. It is both a sobering and exciting call to lead in this Great Commission work.”
Lance and his wife, Cynthia, are both graduates of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. When God moved their family to Augusta in 2010, they quickly became involved as volunteers in the ministry of Warren Baptist Church…and they haven’t looked back since! He and his black lab, Dickens, are the only males in a house full of strong, courageous women and they’re quite happy to be there.
When not thinking about community missions, Lance dabbles as a home barista, dreams about Africa, and serves as Chief Adventure Officer for the Stuckey Family.
