The team has arrived safely in Swaziland! This evening, we experienced a wonderful time of worship and devotion and it was obvious that the Lord was strongly present. The new team house, Sunset Palms, is located in Manzini and is an absolutely breathtaking facility. We are incredibly thankful and blessed for this opportunity this year. In the morning, the team will be visiting the Timbutini carepoint. In the afternoon, half of the team will visit the Ntabas (Ruby’s) carepoint and the other half of the team will stay and serve at Timbutini. At the end of the day, the team will make six home visits – four at Timbutini and two at Ruby’s. We were scheduled to visit only four homesteads tomorrow, however, two families contacted one of our missionaries on Friday with a desperate plea for food. Home visits are when small groups (4-6 people) go home with one of our children to meet their families and supply them with food while also fellowshipping with them. We will provide the homesteads with Bibles in their language (SiSwati). We are looking forward to being used by God and to seeing Him work in huge ways while visiting these families.
We covet these prayer requests:
* Team Unity (die to self)
* Health of team members (one team member was ill today but is feeling better tonight)
* Hearts of the homestead family members to be receptive to the truth of the Word
* For team members to love Jesus first and to put others before themselves in all situations
