Safe and sound in Johannesburg!

Safe and sound in Johannesburg!

First of all, thank you to all of you that came out for our great send off on Saturday! Boy, did we feel loved! It was great to have so many family members and dear friends at the church to pray over us and see us off. Again, thank you for taking the time.

When we got to Atlanta, we discovered that a new bag rule had recently been implemented. “One Bag per Person” As you can imagine, that created a bit of a problem with the 18 crates we had in tow. From the beginning of this trip, we’ve prayed that God would go before us and that we would simply stay on his path. Before we even had time to pray over the situation, the very nice man allowed us to proceed with our crates! He had indeed gone before us and knew we would encounter this “new rule”! This was a huge “Yeah, God”!!

We arrived safely around 10:15 AM (Sunday) good ole Georgia time. Some of us had long naps on the flight and others, well, not so much. It is now 11:30 PM and they are safe in their beds as I type this. I would ask that you continue to pray for our safety and health. Also, please pray for the health of our loved ones at home. We found out when we arrived that Joseph’s wife and children all have a nasty bug. Please pray that they will all have a quick recovery and that Joseph does not come down with it. I know it’s tough knowing that your family is ill when you are so far away from home, so please say a special prayer for Joseph. We will travel to Swaziland tomorrow and see our children first thing Tuesday morning. We are on the edges of our seats waiting to get there!

Until tomorrow, good night to you all. We love you dearly……
