We arrived in Swaziland ready to prepare for our first day at the carepoints. We had our orientation with Mark and Allison (our missionary leaders), which included what to do when facing a black mamba. I think we all are in agreement of what we would do…….see who could outrun who!!! In all seriousness, we are thrilled to be here and cannot wait to love on these children, the D-Team and the Go-Go’s tomorrow – come rain or shine. That being said, we do have a prayer request. They are expecting heavy rains within the next few days which could limit our ability to be at the carepoints. Please pray that the bad weather holds off for a few more days. We want to spend as much time at the carepoints as we can.
We had a wonderful time of reading our blog comments, a great devotion and a very sweet time of prayer. We collectively prayed for one of our precious Swazi families – the Schmitz family. Many of you may know that are awaiting results from Nathan’s recent MRI. We know that God has great plans for Nathan and we are resting in that promise. Please keep this family in your prayers – they are all very special to us.
We have packed our needed crates for tomorrow and are ready for a good night’s rest. Thank you all for your prayers and for your encouraging comments on the blog. You’ll never know how much that means. Much love to you all…..
