All good things must come to end or so the expression goes. And I think that after a week of fellowship and work that is an appropriate expression. Our time in Ecuador was incredible and leaving creates many mixed emotions. On the one hand, we were tired both physically and emotionally. We were ready to be back home with our own families. But on the other hand, our team established new relationships and developed a love for the people and culture of Ecuador.
And that is part of the beauty of short term cross cultural ministry. God uses it to glorify himself but to also change our hearts and the hearts of the people that we engage. So as we boarded the plane last Saturday night, we all had a flood of emotions, but mainly, it was gratefulness to God that we could used as instruments as part of his grand plan for salvation for people of every tribe, nation, and language.
From all of us at GMO, thank you for your support and encouragement and we hope to see you join us again next year as we strengthen our relationships and evangelism efforts in Ecuador.
